Nice to meet you.
Rewind to Christmas 1994 and you'll find me opening my very first easel.  It was neon red, bulky, made of cheap plastic - and it was perfect. At that moment, I knew I wanted to be an Artist (of some sort). Today, you'll find me a college graduate with a Bachelors of Graphic Design, with minors in both Art History and Studio Art.
My secondary focus in Studio Art has allowed me to utilize my artistic skills outside the computer - creating illustrations for books, paintings, sculptures, and prints. I am a lover of abstract expressionism and have finished a collection of paintings that are currently exhibited in Joplin, MO.

My passion for Art History allowed me to travel through France and Scandinavia during the summer of 2015. I was able to visit museums to research famous art forms, architecture, and ancient artifacts. During my travels, I was able to learn darkroom photography from the renowned Scandinavian photographer Örjan Henriksson. This opportunity enhanced my photography and design skills through simplification, patience, and self-critique. This was the most fulfilling and inspiring experience I’ve had as a designer and artist. In the spring of 2016, I was able to travel a second time - this time to the United Kingdom where I explored contemporary art, product design, and European architecture.
